Within the framework of a ANR granted project, in collaboration with many academic and industrial partners, the SIAMES project of IRISA laboratory proposes a PHD thesis work (as described in the attached file).

Generic interactions between objects and haptic realism for the user

To apply for this thesis, you should have skills in:
• Mechanical science
• Control of systems
• Computer science
You should also be interested in simulation methods for mechanics and in the development of simulators.
The thesis should begin in October for 3 years. This date may be modified according to the request for granting that is in progress.
