The purpose of this task is to describe the specifications of a system that will be built in order to promote the sharing of VR facilities available at the various partner organizations. This document is specifying all of the utilities of this system and the procedure that a user must follow to use it.
More specific, at first a Resources Database Analysis is presented, which will be used for the system. Then, we present the information that the system will require from the user and from the databases, and then what the system will present to the user. Next, we present the Interaction Analysis where the whole procedure is described, giving all the steps that a user will have to do in order to be able to find an available facility/equipment in another partner and to loan/share it. Finally, the subjects on which the implementation will be based are presented.
The proposed system will be built on top of the database of resources in order to facilitate the facility sharing among the Network partners and will provide the foreground for equipment loan and/or sharing. The system will provide a user-friendly environment where partners will be able to search for any hardware or software that is interested to loan or to share it. The user, through the system, will also have the ability to request for any available hardware or software from the owner. The system will follow a certain protocol, where the user would need to answer questions like who will pay for the transport and insurance, in order to fill a predefined protocol.
