You are cordially invited to submit a paper and participate in the ICVL 2006 (http://fmi.unibuc.ro/icvl) – International Conference on Virtual Learning, Bucharest, ROMANIA, between the 27th and 29th of October 2006.

Research papers - Major Topics

The papers describing advances in the theory and practice of Virtual Environments for Education and Training (VEL&T), Virtual Reality (VR), Information and Knowledge Processing (I&KP), as well as practical results and original applications. The education category includes both the use of Web Technologies, Computer Graphics and Virtual Reality Applications, New tools, methods, pedagogy and psychology, Case studies of Web Technologies and Streaming Multimedia Applications in Education, experience in preparation of courseware.

Important Dates

PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING DEADLINES:
• Submission of abstracts for review: May 30, 2006
• Notification of abstract acceptance: June 30, 2006
• Submission of complete papers for the proceedings: July 15, 2006
• Notification of successful proposals: August 15, 2006

You are cordially invited to submit abstracts (not more than 250 words), written in English using the Conference online submission system available on
http://fmi.unibuc.ro/icvl/ or e-mail your abstract (and/or your paper), along with a title page, to icvl@fmi.unibuc.ro.

Full and Short Papers (in English) containing original and unpublished results are solicited. Full papers are limited to maximum 8 pages (single space) including figures. Accepted papers will be included in a conference proceedings published by University of Bucharest.
